Puskas and Buci Deák

Classic duo: Buci Deák, the former jocular friend of footballers and their entourages, and Puskás met again at the shooting of the ’Aranycsapat’ film after many years apart.

The meeting was spontaneous but was captured on film at the shooting of András Surányi’s 1981 film. At this time of Puskás’ return to Hungary, it was also permitted for a book of interviews and a documentary film to be made. In the cinemas, yes, but it could not be seen on television; even through the eyes of today though, it is interesting to see this production and this meeting is a funny, oft-quoted scene from it.
